Liz Yates and Jimmy Dunn got married on Blue Venado Beach Club, on November 9th, 2014, two years after their first date. They met at a bar in Los Angeles, California, on a Halloween party. They say Liz’s costume was just the right one to meet “the one”, but she barely knew it. She was dressed as Audrey Hepburn, while Jimmy wore a replacement referee costume. None of them knew that a Halloween party would be the beginning of an amazing love story.

They were together for ten months before going to a picnic dinner in an outdoor concert at the beach. Liz didn’t know that night would change her life forever, and she almost forget to say yes!. They were taking pictures by the sea, when surprisingly, Jimmy got down on one knee in the sand, and asked her to marry him. She was so shocked by the proposal, that she started asking Jimmy «Oh my god, are you serious?! Are you serious?!» about 20 times. She eventually said «yes», after Jimmy reminded her that he actually needed a reply.

That’s when the dream about getting married in the beautiful Riviera Maya began. With the help of PINTEREST, a wedding planner, and much love and creativity, they carefully planned every single detail, so their wedding would be an original and special day to remember forever.

THE BRIDE

White wedding dress, a beautiful bouquet, and our bride was ready to enjoy her special day. Liz chose to wear her hair down to one side, with loose curls, and then opted for a style change, in which she wore an up-do with a side bun, designed by Natacha Bitsch. White flowers were the perfect accessory to accompany this natural, soft hairstyle for a beach wedding.
She also decided to wear a nude makeup palette. She felt more comfortable with this subtle, romantic look, which made her feel comfortable and in harmony with the beautiful Caribbean sea.

THE BRIDESMAIDS

Liz’s Bridesmaids were also beautified by the VO Evolution Team. They mostly preferred to have up-do hairstyles, and nude palette makeups. Bridesmaids combined with the bride. Plus a beautiful setting, they all look gorgeously happy and had a great time in Blue Venado.
Liz and Jimmy were also surprised by their friends with a flash mob in the middle of the wedding!

That surprise, their lovely wedding, and the “first kiss” right after getting married were moments this couple will always remember.

We hope Liz and Jimmy have a lifetime of happiness together, and we, the VO Team, are proud we were a little help to make her even more feel happy and beautiful.
